THANK YOU! from Grant Hay

Grant Hay’s Aboriginal Ministry

To all the Stirling Parishioners, your families, neighbours, friends, acquaintances, retirement homes, other knitting groups. exercise classes, day care, other churches knitters and many others.
I am aware of them coming from Strathalbyn through to the Adelaide Plains and many places in between.
Please pass on this Ministry’s appreciation.

You are doing remarkable work for these people- especially knitting.

So far this winter you have made 312 beanies and 38 scarves for men, women and children and 20 knee rugs for their Elders.

They are so very much appreciated by the recipients and by Grant.

As he distributes them, he tells the people who they are made by and sent with our love, through God’s love.

Please continue as Grant can use countless knitteds, furniture of all kinds and household goods.

All sorts of items such as clothing, bric-a-brac etc. also go to the Pt Augusta Op Shop – run through their church for the whole community in Pt Augusta, and their customers come from as far as the APY Lands.
Special needs at the moment are towels, single doona covers, double and single doona fillings, electric heaters, men’s and women’s warm dressing gowns and slippers to keep them warm in their homes.

To supplement Grant’s growing petrol costs, every $ is so welcome.

His life is not easy, please pray for him.

What an honour and a pleasure it is to be your co-ordinator with this marvellous work.
