Bridgewater
Church of St Michael & All Angels
435 Mt Barker Rd, Bridgewater
The Church of St Michael and All Angels
is a congregation of friendly people of all ages who come together to
worship God using a variety of services and styles of worship.
All services start at the family friendly time of 9.30am
at 435 Mt Barker Road, Bridgewater, about 300m east
of Coles [SEE MAP]
On the second and fourth Sundays the service is contemporary,
with bias towards youth.
On the remaining Sundays the services are more reflective & traditional.
On the third Sunday the music focuses on the Taizé experience.
On every Sunday enjoy warm fellowship during the service and after at
morning tea.
Each Friday afternoon during term time we run our Kids’
Klub for primary school aged children.
The children arrive from 3.45pm onwards, enjoy a great afternoon tea together
and either play active games outside (soccer in winter and autumn, volleyball
and cricket now), or take part in craft activities like woodwork, or learning
to use a sewing machine to make things.
At 5.30 pm we have a Learning Time for about half an hour when we talk
about spiritual things in fun ways.
Both priests are there most weeks, and there’s a team of adults
who ensure that things run smoothly.
There are also some teenagers who are often involved and help lead the
younger ones.
